For the past fifteen years, Korean Churches for Community Development (KCCD) has served as a light and bridge initially between the Korean American Community and the greater community. KCCD is now expanding to the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community at the local and national levels and launching the AAPI Faith Alliance, a national convening and collaboration of AAPI churches, faith-based and community organizations, and non-profits across the country to strengthen our engagement and partnerships with the greater community. We have trained and empowered faith and nonprofit leaders to better serve their communities by building bridges, building capacity and building resources. In addition, KCCD has been a national leader in various arenas including housing and foreclosure counseling, leadership training, job training, computer literacy, Affordable Care Act outreach, and mental health awareness. To date, KCCD has garnered over 500 partners across the nation, ranging from the White House to Fortune 500 companies, local non-profit organizations and key institutional stakeholders.
