Summit Overview
The Summit provides opportunities for churches and nonprofit organizations to learn how to leverage resources, access funding opportunities, and build successful partnerships to better implement their programs for the community and expand their impact and witness. The Summit will also provide networking opportunities with various important stakeholders including potential funders, elected officials, and government agencies. At the same time, the Summit provides a platform to highlight great models and resources in the community as well as advocate for issues that impact the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.

White House Briefing
Through the leadership of KCCD, the White House has invited AAPI Christians leaders to dialogue and explore opportunities for partnership through a White House Briefing and Summit. Invitees will meet with our nation's leaders, be equipped in the civic arena, and also have a platform to elevate the strengths and needs of our communities while launching a national network of AAPI Christian churches and leaders who can be engaged in the public sphere. Congressional Visits
Summit participants will have an opportunity to meet and greet U.S. Congressional members and/or staff members at the U.S. Capitol. Plenary Session & Workshops
Sessions covered include Vision Networking Sessions, Navigating Government, Corporate, & Media Resources, Mobilizing the Faith Community for Civic Engagement, Roundtables, and more. The black-tie awards gala and dinner will celebrate great models of leadership in the AAPI Christian-community - including pastors, churches, nonprofit and business leaders. Although leadership exists in our community, they are not known because they have seldom been given the platform for visibility. It is also an opportunity to recognize and thank funders and partners who have contributed to the advancement of AAPI community's participation, contribution and influence through faith-based and community partnerships. Awards Gala and Dinner The Prayer Breakfast is an opportunity to bring key AAPI Christian leaders as well as leaders from the greater community including elected officials and government agencies to come and lift up prayers for the community and the country. There will be prayers, presentations & entertainment/praise. National AAPI Prayer Breakfast This is an interactive networking session in which participants will be able to play different rounds of role playing as a funder or a grant seeker. Each round there will be eliminations. Finalists will be able to compete for the final grand cash prize of $300 in front of actual funders. Speed Networking Competition |
